Research Analyst – Assessment and Institutional Research
Luther College, a top U.S. liberal arts college, seeks a qualified individual interested in an entry-level position in assessment and institutional research to serve as Research Analyst in the Office of Assessment and Institutional Research.
Reporting to the Director of Assessment and Institutional Research, the Research Analyst will be responsible for providing technical, organizational, and statistical support for assessment and institutional research projects. This entails organizing, analyzing, and reporting on institutional and external data to support decision-making by faculty and administrators, learning assessment, and dissemination of information to internal and external constituencies of the college.
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in statistics, educational research, survey methodology, or other quantitatively oriented field. The candidate will also be expected to provide evidence of strong analytical and organizational skills, an understanding of the mission of a liberal arts education, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Consideration will also be given to ABD Doctoral candidates or qualified Master candidates seeking a two-year internship to conduct and complete their research and/or fulfill academic program requirements.
