The Office of President Lou Anna K. Simon and the Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) are pleased to announce a new community service award for currently enrolled MSU Students to coincide with the center’s 50th anniversary. The Michigan State University Spartan Volunteer Service Award: A Presidential Recognition will be presented to MSU students who have accrued a minimum of 100 hours of verified community engaged learning and/or volunteerism from November 1, 2016, through November 1, 2017. Recipients will be acknowledged as part of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Events in January 2018. Eligible students must apply to be considered for recognition.
