The Gross Anatomy Lab Monitor will be responsible for opening and closing the Gross Anatomy Lab only for students enrolled in lab courses during open lab hours. Other primary duties include monitoring the conduct and activities of students while using the lab. Lab monitors are expected to oversee and enforce laboratory guidelines and rules. Current freshman and sophomore students preferred.
Two monitors will be hired to start in mid-June through mid-August when summer classes end. Monitors will work roughly 8-12 hours per pay-period. The work hours are M-TH: 6pm-10pm, and every weekend, Saturdays: 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm, and Sundays: 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm. The position does observe July 4th as a holiday. The position pays minimum wage.
Summer hires may have the ability to continue into the fall of 2018 and beyond.
- The work hours in the fall are generally M-TH: 5pm-9pm, and about 50% of the weekends, Saturdays: 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm, and Sundays: 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm.
- The work hours in the spring are generally M and TH: 5pm-9pm and most weekends, Saturdays: 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm, and Sundays: 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm.
