As some of you may know, your College of Education career advisor, Pepa Casselman, will be on leave from now until the end of February. In the meantime, if you’d like career assistance we’d recommend the following options.
- See a College of Education Career Peer. Career peers are trained to help with basic career needs including resumes, using Handshake, getting involved on and off campus, and more! To make an appointment with a career peer advisor, log into your Handshake account and search for open appointment times under the Career Center/Advising tabs.
- Meet with an All-Majors Career Advisor. All-majors career advisors are located at the Student Services Building and are trained to work with any major on campus. Use Handshake to see your advising options with these advisors.
- Use the Career Handbook. This can be a really helpful tool when thinking about all things career. Pick one up in the advising office or view it online here.
- Use the Career Services Network Website. Although it’s awesome to have help by an “expert” in the college, just having access to resources can be helpful. For everything career, see the MSU Career Services website.
Walk-in career advising for the College of Education will start back up the first week of spring semester. For spring hours:
- Mondays 3:30-5 p.m.
- Fridays 10:3o-noon
Please note, there will be limited career advising options and no walk-in career advising over winter break.
