Interested in earning your master’s degree at the College of Education in the future, but not sure about your options?
You’re invited to attend the next College of Education online master’s virtual information session on Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. EST (register to attend via Zoom). This event will provide an overview of our college’s nine online master’s degrees, the online student experience and the application process.
In the meantime, you can browse each program on online.msu.edu or read more below, along with links to more detailed information on each program.
- K-12 teachers and administrators can earn their M.A. in Education (MAED), Teaching & Curriculum (MATC) or Educational Technology (MAET).
- With only two required courses and six concentration areas, the MAED is thoughtfully designed to be flexible to meet the needs of a wide variety of educators.
- The MATC offers its own unique concentration areas and State of Michigan teaching endorsements/specializations in Literacy/Language Instruction and K-12 ESL.
- The MAET develops innovative leaders prepared to transform learning through technology. This master’s degree can be completely online or in combination with the summer hybrid and/or summer overseas programs.
- Educators engaged in supporting the needs of all learners can earn their M.A. in Special Education (SPED) or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism Spectrum Disorders (ABA ASD) students develop a host of skillsets to improve the lives of those with autism.
- The M.A. in Higher, Adult & Lifelong Education (HALE) provides professional development for people working in colleges and universities, public and nonprofit agencies, as well as private industry.
- The M.S. in Sport Coaching, Leadership & Administration (SCLA) is designed for current or aspiring coaches, athletic directors and sports administrators.
- The new M.A. in Learning Experience Design (MALXD) program provides a critical lens of equity, accessibility, and social justice in human-centered learning and design.
