Kinesiology Undergraduate Degree

Explore the Study of Human Movement

Kinesiology majors study movement and physical activity, as well as its impact on health, society and quality of life.

Students will take classes covering a variety of topics and areas of interests including: Kinesiology, motor control and development, sports business management, athletic training and sports medicine, the psychology and sociology of physical activity, sport and exercise physiology, fitness leadership and the promotion of health/wellness in communities at home and abroad. Course work is enhanced by hands-on lab experience, research opportunities and the “KIN-ternship” experience.

Cognates and minors in our curriculum will allow you to explore opportunities in the field, cultivate mentors and fine-tune your interests. Many of our students choose to study abroad, particularly through the Summer Sports Down Under Program in Australia. Explore the world of kinesiology at MSU!
