Student Affairs

The Student Affairs staff is located in Room 134, Erickson Hall. For general information, please call the office at 517-353-9680.  Appointments for non-MSU students (including high school and prospective transfer students) can be scheduled by calling the main office number, as well.

Academic Advising

Located in Room 134 Erickson Hall, Academic Advisors offer individual and walk-in appointments to students seeking assistance with course scheduling, campus resources, study strategies, career exploration and more. Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs

Kristy Dumont is the Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs in the College of Education and oversees undergraduate student admission, academic functions, degree certification, etc. She is responsible for administering university policies related to enrollment, grading, academic dishonesty, academic standing, reinstatement, readmission and dean’s list recognition. She also has primary responsibility for the resolution of issues affecting undergraduate students.

Kinesiology Department
