Becky Olsen recently joined the team of academic advisors serving students within the College of Education. Olsen primarily serves kinesiology and athletic training students.
“I’m grateful to be back at MSU,” she said. “My role ties into my love of athletics and working with students – watching them grow and seeing their success – it’s my dream job, really.”
From 2001 to 2006, Olsen worked in the MSU Athletics media relations office. Most recently, Olsen worked at Adrian College as a student support specialist and academic advisor, serving a diverse population of first-generation college students, students with disabilities and those considered at-risk.
Prior to that, Olsen spent three years at Madonna University in a similar position. She is also a 2010 graduate of the college’s Masters of Arts in Education (MAED) program.
