Marilyn Amey
Department of Educational Administration Chairperson Marilyn Amey has been selected to receive the Robert H. Shaffer Award for Academic Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member.
Given yearly by the NASPA – Student Affairs in Higher Education, the award recognizes those who are a personal inspiration to graduate students, have served on doctoral committees and have distinguished scholarly records of achievement. During her career, Amey has served as dissertation chair for more than 50 students.
Amey will be honored at the 2014 NASPA annual conference in Baltimore, Md., March 15-19.
