Deborah Feltz is a University Distinguished Professor and Chairperson Emeritus of the Department of Kinesiology. She was a sport and exercise psychologist who specialized in self-efficacy and the psychosocial implications of sport and physical activity participation. She was interested in the interrelationships of self-efficacy, motivation and performance among youth, teams, and coaches. She also focused on motivation within groups in exercise.
