Elizabeth Cloude

Elizabeth Cloude is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education. The heart of her research is situated in learning analytics, learning sciences, instructional design and educational psychology. Her ultimate goal is to develop intelligent and adaptive learning technologies that enhance the accessibility, inclusivity and overall quality of digital education. She explores learning as a complex system using a multidisciplinary lens in nonlinear dynamical systems and mixed multi-modal methods. She was a recipient of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship and her research is supported by the Jacobs Foundation. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in the International Learning Analytics and Knowledge Conference, International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education, IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing and the British Journal of Educational Technology, among other outlets.
