Kristy Dumont is the director of undergraduate student affairs in the College of Education. As director, she is responsible for functions related to undergraduate student recruitment, orientation, advising, degree certification, internship clearance, academic records, college colloquium, and commencement. She is responsible for administering university policies related to enrollment (e.g., adding/dropping courses, late drops, medical withdrawals, repeat credits), grading, academic dishonesty, academic standing (e.g., probation, recess, dismissal), financial aid (SAP) appeals, reinstatement, readmission, and the dean's list. She completed a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education in the College of Education at Michigan State University.
