Ashley Moore is the Co-Coordinator of Residency Programming and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education. As a coordinator, Moore has worked collaboratively to initiate and maintain relationships with several urban districts across Michigan, as well as conceptualize the residency experience for a pilot year beginning in Fall 2021. She also loves to teach, and has taught pre-internship, internship, and Masters-level courses for MSU's Teacher Preparation Program. She currently teaches courses on the social foundations of justice and equity in education, as well as pedagogy and politics in education. Her research focuses on social justice teacher preparation and the utility/problematics of vulnerability in teacher education.
