Karenanna Boyle Creps is the Subject Area Leader for Art Education program in the Department of Teacher Education. Her research interests include: arts education, arts-based education research, curriculum, education abroad curricula and pedagogies, experiential education, instruction, intercultural education, performative autoethnography, poetic inquiry, teacher education, and the ethics of education research. Her poetic inquiry is published in Qualitative Inquiry and in a Diversity Abroad Network webinar, titled: Program Director Roles in Inclusive Education Abroad. She is also a poet and performing artist, and her poetry appears in Muddy River Poetry Review and S/tick.
