Best Paper Awards
Nathan Hawk won the Best Paper Award from the Special Interest Group-Technology as an Agent of Change in Teaching and Learning (SIG-TACTL). Sheng-Lun Cheng won a Richard C. Anderson Graduate Student Research Award from the National Consortium for Instruction and Cognition (NCIC).
Professional Service
Our lab director Dr. Kui Xie served as a co-chair for Division C New Faculty Mentoring Program and as a mentor for SIG-Design and Technology. He served as the discussant for two paper sessions. He also served as a panelist in the SIG-Design and Technology business meeting. In addition, he was elected as the chair for Special Interest Group-Instructional Technology. Nathan Hawk also served as a chair for a paper session.
