Students finishing their fifth-year internship as part of the MSU teacher preparation program must complete a few more steps to become certified.
K-12 Professional Certification
The College of Education offers guidance and preparation leading to professional certification for teachers (elementary and secondary levels), administrators and school psychologists. MSU also offers preparation for occupational certification in Vocational Agriscience and Natural Resources. A recommendation from MSU for any type of certificate or endorsement requires that the applicant submit an application to the MSU Certification Office and to MOECS.
Use this site as a resource on how to become certified in a particular field or learn how to add an endorsement to your resume. All how-to steps link to the MSU Academic Programs Catalog. Contact a member of our team if you have specific questions!
