Leadership for Equity-Minded Change in Postsecondary Education

Launching in Summer 2024, the Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Leadership for Equity-Minded Change in Postsecondary Education addresses numerous, critical challenges in education today.

Today’s students, faculty, and staff bring a rich diversity of identities and experiences to postsecondary education. Leaders must advance programs, organizations and systems in ways that are inclusive and supportive to all. Higher education is also under pressure to clarify its purposes and to provide value to students and society.

We welcome students who wish to grow their professional skills in questioning, analyzing and creating strategic change for current and future issues in the educational sector. In this program, you will work with a team of dedicated faculty scholars and a cohort of fellow students to integrate insights from research and scholarship.

This program is part of the renowned Department of Educational Administration.

CAREERS FOR CHANGE

Through our cohort-based program, we educate prospective and current leaders in higher education. We support individuals in their career paths for leadership roles in postsecondary education.

The LEMCPE program is for the working professional. Its cohort design brings a small group of students together with a faculty advisor for the three-year, in-person program to learn and grow in collaboration and community.

Find Your Perfect Fit

The Ed.D. in Leadership for Equity-Minded Change in Postsecondary Education shares several core courses with the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education Ph.D. program.
