The General Assembly is the legislative body of the Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU) which introduces, debates, and votes on legislative action to take a stance on behalf of the collective undergraduate student body. The actions and bills that are passed by the General Assembly then get passed on to University officials, community leaders, and representatives from state and Federal levels of government.
Election packets are open for students to apply for the open General Assembly seats until Monday, November 6th! During this process, students must write a brief bio and receive the minimum amount of signatures for their college.
