Exploring Radical Reciprocity through Global Partnerships

The 2024 Symposium hosted by Michigan State University’s Network for Global Civic Engagement will celebrate 5 years of reciprocal community-university partnerships. Presentations will highlight projects improving food security in Tanzania, building sustainability in Costa Rica, and promoting peacebuilding locally through arts and education. The event will also preview an online resource on radical reciprocity and feature scholars discussing economic empowerment, thought leadership, and facilitation. By sharing diverse perspectives from MSU students, faculty, and community leaders, the symposium inquires how these collaborations cultivate new possibilities for understanding and collective action across differences.
