Dr. Savannah Shange, UC Santa Cruz

Dr. Shange is author of “Progressive Dystopia: Abolition, AntiBlackness, + Schooling in San Francisco” and is assistant professor of anthropology and principal faculty in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

This event is part of the Electric.Marronage, a collaborative digital/material project based on principles of fugitivity, Black femme freedom, worlds/otherwise, +decolonizing diaspora studies. Curated by Yomaira C. Figueroa + Jessica Marie Johnson
