David P. Ferguson earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, master’s degree in Clincial Exercise Physiology from University of North Carolina Charlotte, and Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University. He completed postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine in the Children’s Nutrition Research Center and Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. The goal of his laboratory is to investigate the mechanistic changes that occur due to poor diet and propose therapeutic countermeasures to increase cardiovascular function and decrease mortality rates.
