Educational technology and professional development are key issues for Michigan teachers and educators. As an educator Joe Coddeyou have access to a variety of professional development programs and choosing the right program can sometimes be difficult. Your choices include in-service workshops, online courses offered by various providers, and graduate courses offered by colleges and universities such as Michigan State.
I’m writing to let you know that the Michigan State University College of Education, which is ranked number one in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in elementary and secondary education, offers an Educational Technology Certificate Program designed specifically for Michigan’s in-service teachers.
When comparing programs, such as those offered by national organizations and other providers, keep in mind:

-MSU will bring the Educational Technology Certificate Program to your school district offering classes conveniently on Friday evenings and Saturdays, using computers you use every day in the classroom, and offering you the opportunity to learn and work with your peers.

-You will earn 9 graduate credits from Michigan State University

-And the courses you take are transferable into a number of MSU masters programs.

Before making your decision, please give us a call and we can talk with you about your professional development options and why MSU is the right choice for you.
