Connecting to MSU

03/31/2011

The Michigan State University community now has a new website for computing and technology resources.
Over the past 10 months, Libraries, Computing and Technology (LCT) has been working on a redesign of the computing.msu.edu site, which was first launched in 2004. The new site, renamed tech.msu.edu, offers a more comprehensive look at LCT technology resources and services available to MSU students, faculty, staff and visitors.
“Our primary aim with this website is to provide an easy place to find technology information at MSU,” explains LCT Vice Provost David Gift. “Redesigning the website provided an opportunity for LCT to evaluate its services across the board and enhance the usability of this online portal into the broad variety of tools and information we provide to the Michigan State University community.”
The new site tech.msu.edu represents a broad scope of information technology at MSU. Navigation is by category, as well as by audience. The search functionality has also been optimized through entering all services into the MSU keywords system for tech.msu.edu.
The site is now undergoing further testing following the initial launch. A tech.msu.edu feedback form is available.
