TeamMAET @ MACUL'12

03/15/2012

MACUL is always an amazing and energizing conference, and this year was no exception. While we know you work hard everyday to integrate technology into your practice, it’s wonderful to take a few days to celebrate and showcase your hard work. We are extremely proud of our students, alumni and faculty who represented Michigan State University and the entire MAET Program at the conference. Speaker handouts from all MACUL’12 presenters can be found by visiting: http://www.macul.org/conferences/2012maculconference/speaker-handouts/.
We look forward to this yearly celebration of educational technology. TeamMAET had a great time at the exhibit hall during MACUL ‘12. We would especially like to thank Chuck Commeret, Terri Gustafson, Kimberly Powell, Allison Thompson, and Andrea Zellner who volunteered their time to share their MAET experiences with potential students and fellow educators.

We would sincerely like to thank the College of Arts and Letters for allowing us to give away a pair of tickets to the sold out Sir Ken Robinson visit to MSU. Congratulations to Andrew Carr – he is the lucky winner randomly selected from all of the entries.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your contact information and enter to win. If you requested more information about our programs, we will be following up in next few days.
We did our best to run an MAET TeachMeet but the conference hall was so busy it was hard to run a proper session.  Have no fear, we have a super idea on the horizon that will allow everyone to participate in a virtual MAET TeachMeet.  Keep an eye on our blog and twitter feed for details on how you can present and participate.
Thanks again for making MACUL’12 a tremendous success – we look forward to seeing you in Detroit for MACUL’13…..March 20 – 22, 2013!
