The time has come…..and we are SO EXCITED! TeamMAET is attending ISTE2012, and looking forward to learning lots of new things, meeting and connecting with some amazing people and most importantly sharing this information with the MAET community at large.
Our own Jodi Spicer will be live tweeting from the event, so be sure to follow her @JodiSpicer. She plans to attend many sessions, meet lots of people “in person,” and connect with new edtech friends. If there is something in particular that YOU are interested in, be sure to let Jodi know and she can try to check it out for you!
If you are looking for ways to connect with ISTE2012, there are many to choose from! Here are just a few suggestions:
- Follow the official conference hashtag #ISTE12 throughout the event to see what people are saying about their conference experience.
- Follow the official ISTE Connects Blog at: http://blog.iste.org/.
- Check out ISTE Unplugged, held onsite in tandem with ISTE 2012. It is three days of presentations where anyone attending ISTE can sign up to present. Sessions are 30 minutes long and will be streamed live through Blackboard Collaborate and recorded for future viewing.
- For a more comprehensive conference experience, virtual attendees can also participate in a full day of ISTE 2012 at Remote ISTE, scheduled for Tuesday, June 26.
