<<< CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS UPDATE >>>
NEW GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING
The Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning is a great complement to your MAET degree. To earn this credential, students complete CEP 820, CEP 813 and CEP 817. If these courses are already part of your program plan, please consider applying formally to have this special credential recognized on your transcript: http://edutech.msu.edu/apply/certificate-admissions/
CERTIFICATE RECOGNITION UPDATES
Important Update: Michigan State University only permits the conferral of two credentials per program plan. Students who enroll in the MAET degree program and who are also considering the Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology and/or the Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning should carefully consider which certificate they would prefer to appear on their transcript as a conferred credential. MAET degree students who complete the coursework for both certificates can only apply to have one of them appear as a conferred credential on their transcript. We are always available to help you get the best out of your degree program. Please contact your advisor to review options.
Our very own program directors Punya Mishra and Leigh Wolf are working on an exciting new partnership between MSU and global tech giant Wipro Ltd to help meet the demand for math and science teachers who will be leaders in America’s urban school districts. – See more at:

This month we are very happy to highlight MAET alumnus Chandra Owen. Chandra graduated in 2011 and recently moved into a new position with the Financial Aid Office at Michigan State University, where she has worked as a financial aid officer since 2007. We found her enthusiasm and the various way she has creatively integrated technology in her job inspirational! She has generously taken the time to share insight into what she is doing now and how she has used her experience in the MAET program in her work.
