Nominate Undergraduate Students for the 2014 MSU LeaderShape Institute!

The 2014 MSU LeaderShape Institute will be from May 4th – May 9th, 2014 at the Kellogg Biological Station in Gull Lake, MI.  We are excited to be celebrating our 13th year of hosting the LeaderShape Institute at Michigan State University.  To date, over 600 students have participate in this unique and rewarding leadership opportunity. *I am writing to seek your assistance in identifying and nominating exemplary candidates for the upcoming MSU 2014 LeaderShape Institute! *

The LeaderShape Institute is a nationally recognized program offering participants an opportunity to develop a better understanding of themselves, while learning more about leadership and its applications in their lives. This experience is an intensive, energizing, life changing, and unique six-day educational experience designed to teach college students to lead with integrity and to identify a vision for their lives. The MSU LeaderShape Institute is offered at no expense for selected MSU LeaderShape participants.

Please take a few moments to give some thought to nominating students you believe would most benefit from this opportunity, and nominate them as a candidate for the 2014 LeaderShape Institute. Please forward the names and e-mails addresses of your undergraduate student/nominees via e-mail to Tammye Coles at no later than January 17, 2014.  Each nominee will then be sent an e-mail application packet to complete and return via e-mail to The number of participants is limited to fifty; selection is competitive and application packets will be considered through February 15, 2014.

Students will be notified of their acceptance no later than February 21, 2014.
