The Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs seeks applications for one or more tenure-track Assistant Professor positions with teaching and research interests in public policy. One position will be in the area of education policy. This position will be joint with the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in the School of Education with the tenure home in the Truman School. Joint appointments may be also possible in other policy areas (health, environment, child and family, food and nutrition, etc.).
Applicants for these positions are expected to demonstrate high potential for scholarly research and publication as well as make teaching contributions at both the Master’s and doctoral level. An earned doctorate in economics, public policy, political science, or sociology is required at the time of appointment. We will be interviewing potential candidates at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Policy Analysis & Management in Washington, DC on November 2-4, 2011.
