The Florida State University’s Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is seeking an energetic and collaborative professional to lead professional development initiatives for professional, support staff, and student staff. Essential knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position include coordinating, implementing, and promoting division-wide programming including professional development workshops, webinars, certification trainings, etc. in conjunction with Division of Student Affairs departments.
The Program Coordinator will also be directly responsible for serving as the primary resource for all joint-university and division-wide events that fall under the responsibility of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with campus partners including senior-level administration, faculty, professional and support staff, students and event volunteers. Additional responsibilities include building on our success in recognizing, publicizing accomplishments, awards and recognition opportunities to promote both staff and programmatic excellence.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with two years full-time experience required as well as experience with large-scale event planning; preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree with knowledge of and experience with Student Affairs programming.
Salary Range
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
