Dr. Cantwell, assistant professor, visited Finland February 4-11, 2012. During his visit, Dr. Cantwell went to the University of Jyvaskyla where he gave a presentation on university governance at the Department of Sociology and Philosophy. Dr. Cantwell also met with the higher education expert group in the Finnish Institute of Education Research. While in Finland, Dr. Cantwell presented a paper with Ilkka Kauppinen (University of Jyvaskyla) on comparing the higher education finance systems in Finland and the United States at the Nordic Conference on Higher Education and Research in Helsinki, Finland.
