Dr. Ann Austin has been invited to serve as a Consulting Expert for the Board on Science Education of the National Research Council for a companion volume for the recent Consensus Study Report entitled Discipline-Based Education Research. The companion volume will be aimed at practitioners engaged in teaching undergraduates in science and engineering. Her role as Consulting Expert has begun and will continue for about a year as the volume is developed.
