Dr. Ann Austin was an invited panelist for the topic, “Promoting Research-Based Instructional Practices in Undergraduate Science and Engineering” on November 8, 2012. The panel discussion was part of a Report Release Event of the Board on Science Education of the National Research Council of The National Academies. The report that was releases was entitled, Discipline-Based Education Research: Understanding and Improving Learning in Undergraduate Science and Engineering. (Dr. Jim Fairweather was a member of the Consensus Group that produced the report).
