Dr. Shenita Brokenburr (Ph.D., HALE, 2008), was recently appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the University of Wisconsin System Administration (UWSA) office. In this role she will provide leadership and oversight for human resources services and support to the 26 institutions in the Wisconsin higher education system. Dr. Brokenburr’s previous position was Vice President, People for the Ounce of Prevention Fund in Chicago, IL. Prior to her position at the Ounce, she was Vice Chancellor and System Chief Human Resources Officer for the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of human resources policy across a network of 21 higher education institutions.
