Relying on an in-depth knowledge of higher education and other related disciplines, literature, the Intercultural Affairs Associate will provide research and administration services to support the Office.

Requisite Qualifications
  • Typically a Ph. D. Degree in Higher Education or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree required. The incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in progressively responsible positions in Higher Education.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of quantitative and qualitative methodology, diversity issues in higher education, diversity data collection, and analysis.
  • Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by a background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
  • Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and write publishable scholarly articles,  use computer software packages that must  be used to analyze data, make presentations, write reports, etc. (e.g. SPSS, ATLAS, spreadsheet programs, presentation programs and word processing programs)
