The graduate programs in Higher Education, and Student Affairs Administration (HESA) and Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the Department of Leadership and Developmental Sciences in the College of Education and Social Services at the University of Vermont (UVM) seek applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The HESA program offers a M.Ed. adhering to the Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) in Higher Education. The program prepares professionals to apply social justice, student development, organizational, foundational, and administrative principles in a contemporary college context. A long-term nationally recognized program, HESA students are challenged to an unparalleled learning experience, securing positions as higher education leaders in the field upon graduation. The Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program offers Ph.D. and Ed.D. interprofessional programs that prepare professionals in the areas of higher education and student affairs, educational and social service leadership, policy, educational foundations, and inter-disciplinary studies.
