ASHE CEP Mentor-Protégé Program

The Council on Ethnic Participation’s (CEP) Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) invites you (graduate students, early career faculty, administrators, and senior faculty) to submit an application for participation in the 2018  CEP Mentor-Protégé Program.

The CEP’s Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) is intended to provide members of racially/ethnically minoritized populations with mutually beneficial mentoring relationships. To facilitate this process, protégés will be paired with mentors based upon primary scholarly and professional interests. Our objective is that this mentoring relationship will contribute to the protégé and mentor’s personal and professional development. The MPP highly encourages graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, administrators, student affairs personnel, as well as junior and senior faculty to participate in this mentoring program. *Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee you will be a participant. By submitting an application, you are agreeing to attend the Council on Ethnic Participation’s Mentor-Protégé Program on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (EST). Additionally, participants MUST be registered  for the CEP pre-conference to participate in the MPP.

TIMELINE

August 28, 2018 – MPP application open

October 5, 2018 – MPP application @ 11:59 PM (EST) closed

October 19, 2018 – Applicants notified about participation in program

November 14, 2018 – CEP Pre-Conference Begins

November 15, 2018 – CEP MPP activities
