California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is the recipient of the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide intensive research training opportunities for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in health-related research.
The CSULB BUILD Program is committed to providing exceptional research and skills training to the next generation of scientists in order to advance scientific knowledge and technology contributing to the improvement of every individual’s health in the U.S., as well as around the world. The CSULB BUILD program is looking for a full time Senior Research Assistant to support the evaluation team and Principal Investigators with program and evaluation data management and reporting. This person will take responsibility for data collection, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, data cleaning and data management, and reporting tasks. This position will have independent responsibility for one or more sub-evaluation projects. This position requires existing skills in data management and analysis, and a willingness to learn how to utilize new methods, tools, and resources as required for the evaluation. The ideal candidate will also possess strong writing skills and an interest in the visual presentation of evaluation data.
This position is employed through the CSULB Research Foundation. Employment is at-will. This position is restricted to the conditions set forth in the grant. Ongoing employment is contingent upon continual renewal of grant monies and availability of funds.
