Call for Manuscripts: Journal of African American Women and Girls in Education (JAAWGE)

The Journal of African American Women and Girls in Education (JAAWGE) is pleased to announce we are accepting manuscripts for our inaugural issue entitled “The Time is Now: (Re)visioning, (Re)assessing, and (Re)storing the State of Educational Research for African American Women & Girls.”
JAAWGE is a peer-reviewed research journal focused on advancing scholarship and praxis related to African American women and girls in education. JAAWGE is devoted to the study of African American female research throughout the educational pipeline (P-20), across various topics (e.g., urban/rural, policy/law, spirituality, assessment, the professoriate, community partnerships, professional development, literacy, STEM, Art, etc), and across various disciplines (teacher education, higher education, special education, educational psychology, school counseling, etc). JAAWGE is the official sister journal to the Journal of African American Males in Education (JAAME).
