What is the Graduate Research Colloquium (GRC)?
As a community of scholars, HALE graduate students gather each year at the Graduate Research Colloquium (GRC) to present a range of projects to fellow peers, faculty, and prospective HALE graduate students. Examples of acceptable submissions and presentations include: original empirical research, theoretical and analytical pieces, literature reviews, class term papers and projects, dissertation work, and other compete projects with relevance to research or practice. Posters are also accepted! You may present a poster that has been given at another conference but not one given at a previous GRC. See last year’s program for additional examples of presentations.
Why participate in the GRC?
The GRC serves as an outlet for students to share highlights from their academic and professional development. It also provides an opportunity for students and faculty to support and educate one another, as well as for graduate students to hone their professional presentation skills.
When is the submission deadline?
Please complete all sections of this proposal form by 11:59 pm EST on January 13, 2020.
