Call for Reviewers: Graduate Student Review Board, NASPA Journal for Student Affairs Research and Practice

CALL FOR 2020-2023 NEW PROFESSIONAL AND GRADUATE STUDENT REVIEW BOARD

The Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice invites applications to join the New Professional and Graduate Student Review Board for the 2020-2023 term. The journal’s vision is to publish the most rigorous, relevant, and well-respected research and practice making a difference in student affairs practice. JSARP especially encourages manuscripts that are unconventional in nature and that engage in methodological and epistemological extensions that transcend the boundaries of traditional research inquiries. JSARP encourages research and scholarly writing by faculty, administrators, and students through editorial feedback and development of current and future authors Interested applicants are invited to apply. The deadline for application submission is October 14th, 2019.

Application Requirements:

  • Cover letter describing the applicant’s education, areas of interest (content and methodological), a paragraph describing why the individual is interested in the New Professional and Graduate Student Review Board, and what they hope to gain from the experience
  • Curriculum vitae or résumé

Selected applicants will be invited to attend an Editorial Board Meeting at the 2020 NASPA Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. New board members will be notified by December 2019. 

Submit your application by completing application form on the NASPA website. Applications will not be complete without uploading a cover letter and a CV or résumé.
