The Assembly is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that focuses on public scholarship on education. It was founded and is run by education grad students at CU Boulder. We aim to cultivate dialogue across various stakeholders to advance educational justice. We particularly encourage papers written with authors that represent different communities beyond academia. We accept a wide variety of submissions including conceptual papers on public scholarship and educational justice, papers showcasing models of public scholarship, or original educational research written to engage with multiple audiences.
One of the unique features of our journal is that we ask you to identify an audience for your article, beyond other researchers. Your submission is then peer reviewed by members of the research community and a member of the audience you have identified.
Here is a link to the full call for submissions or see attachment.
