This course will cover basic history of global migration, the theories used to describe why some people migrate across international borders and where they go, the politics of migration policy, and research on integration and exclusion of international migrants. It will include content on current migration situations involving refugees and asylum seekers, and especially vulnerable migrants from an intersectional perspective.
