Job Description Position Opportunity:
Under the direction of the administrator, develop local and internal capacity related to the use of data, measurement, evaluation and technology resources, consistent with the implementation research, to ensure the competencies and capacity necessary for implementation specialists and local districts to engage in effective data-based decision making as part of an integrated Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS). In addition, this position will provide creative solutions to developing systems, processes and procedures that support staff and administrators to easily access data sets that allows for successful problem solving.

Qualifications:
? Master’s Degree or equivalent in fields related to education, data science, quantitative methods, social science, computer science, or systems engineering. The desired applicant will have the ability to apply their skills in a practical educational context.
? A minimum of three years of successful recent and relevant experience.
? Completion of university coursework in measurement, statistics and research design/methodology preferred.
? Demonstrates excellent communications skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and instructional staff.
? Excellent customer service skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, constituent district staff and internal staff.
? Demonstrates deep knowledge of Multi-Tier Systems of Support, data needs, data analysis, data management and system processes.
? Demonstrates fluency with technology used to support the development and delivery of measurement, evaluation and research as it relates to data capturing, analysis, displaying and modeling.
? Demonstrates analytical ability to collect, analyze and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to assist schools in curriculum development, assessment practices, research based instructional models and continuous school improvement process.

Performance Responsibilities:
? Works across multiple departments and constituent districts to maximize the use of data and research for improving student achievement within an MTSS framework.
? Assists with cross-functional planning across Ingham ISD departments and local school districts.
? Integrates instructional, data, and technology systems to facilitate and maximize the efficiency of existing and new functions through training, process development, and documentation.
? Maintains a deep understanding of Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) and associated data needs within a cascading model of support (grade, building, district and ISD).
? Maintains a deep understanding of current technology resources and software including but not limited to data warehouses, statistical software (SPSS, MPlus, R, STATA, SAS, HLM) and other data visualization tools.
? Collaboratively designs formative and summative program evaluation processes with stakeholders.
? Utilizes flexible interpersonal and communication skills to address a variety of stakeholder needs, informed by adult learning theory.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
