2020 Virtual Summer of Service Challenge
Join the 2020 Virtual Summer of Service Challenge today to earn service hours, engage in a variety of service projects, get involved in different communities, earn awards, and have fun!
Starting Monday, June 15th and ending Sunday, August 9th, over 16 service project ideas will be posted on the Center for Community Engaged Learning’s website and Instagram page (@communityengagedlearning_msu) for students to engage in throughout the summer. Projects will vary in theme and service type—from advocacy to volunteering to community conversations. The more projects you complete and reflect on, the higher the award you’ll receive!
Not only is this a great way to get involved, while remaining socially connected and physically distant, but it also provides the opportunity to earn service hours toward the Spartan Volunteer Service Award! You may reflect on your service, and add to your My Spartan Story Spartan Experience Record–all while helping others and benefiting communities.
