The Graduate Certification in Community Engagement is a three-part professional development program open to masters and Ph.D. graduate students in all 17 MSU colleges. Through workshops, a community project, and a portfolio, this no-cost program helps students learn new mindsets and skills for their community-engaged research, creative activities, teaching/learning, service and practice activities. This flexible program is for students who like to make a difference with their scholarship, enjoy working with community partners on projects, and like learning with their interdisciplinary peers. The majority of past participants say they’ll list the certification on their c.v.s and mention it in job interviews. For more information visit: https://gradcert.engage.msu.edu/, or contact Diane Doberneck (connordm@msu.edu) with questions. Applications and nomination links are available here: https://gradcert.engage.msu.edu/application and are due Sept 10, 2021.
