The Department of Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs in the College of Education at Kansas State University (K-State) invites applications for a 9-month term (non-tenure track) position as teaching assistant professor of counseling and higher education. The position involves teaching graduate courses in the M.S. in School Counseling and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision programs, the M.S. in College Student Development program, and/or the M.S. in Academic Advising program. The courses in these programs are offered in various modalities, including in-person, online, and blended. The successful candidate will teach four courses each semester with the possibility of summer teaching if desired and needed. Other responsibilities include advising graduate students, providing service, participating in faculty governance, and being involved with relevant professional associations.
