The Institute for Engaged Teaching and Learning in 21st Century Higher Education (IETL)

October 4, 2021

As part of the Global Education Engagement at the Office of International Studies and Education, we are glad to announce the launch of the professional learning program, the Institute for Engaged Teaching and Learning in 21st Century Higher Education (IETL). IETL is a 4-week online program designed to introduce participants to innovations in teaching and build their capacity to rethink and revise their curricular and instructional practices. Through synchronous and asynchronous sessions, the program will provide an opportunity for teams of colleagues to explore and apply new methods of pedagogy and assessment in their institutions. We have a wonderful group of faculty to lead our synchronous sessions and provide supporting asynchronous learning materials and resources, This program is open to participants from across the globe. Networking opportunity across cultures, institutions, and disciplines will make the peer engagements enriching and insightful.

A registration link will be available on the program website on October 1. The registration fee is USD 1100 per participant. We also have an optional coaching program starting in January 2022 with a separate cost, detailed on the IETL webpage. Additionally, we will host two Q&A sessions planned before the program begins, where we will answer any questions that those interested may have. Additional information for these sessions and other details about the program are on the webpage, as well as the program flyer attached with this email.
