The call for proposals for the 7th Annual New England College Assessment Conference, June 1-2, 2022, is now open and highlight that we will be including a graduate student poster session as part of the virtual conference on June 2nd. Please encourage your students to submit a poster proposal for an assessment project they have been involved with. As we did last year, registration will be free for students. Have your students visit the webpage linked below in mid-February to register for the conference.
About This Year’s Conference
The pre-conference will take place on June 1, 2022 and will be an in-person event at New England College, Henniker, NH. The regular conference will take place June 2 and will be held online via Zoom from 11am-6pm ET. Participants are welcome to attend all or part of the event. For more details visit: bit.ly/NECAC22
Registration
Registration costs will be
- $35 for each ½ day in-person pre-conference workshop on June 1
- $20 for each ¼ day in-person pre-conference workshop on June 1
- $25 for the virtual conference on June 2
Registration will be open mid-February.
Proposal Submissions
We are offering two proposal formats this year:
- 45-Minute Content Session
Lecture and interactive live conference session lasting 45 minutes. - NEW! 45-Minute Graduate Student Poster Presentation
Graduate students present an electronic poster and interact with participants about their poster topic. A graduate student must be the first author, though professionals may be listed authors as well. Great opportunity for a first conference presentation!
We are especially excited to offer the Graduate Student Poster Presentation at this year’s conference! Please encourage your graduate students to apply—this is a wonderful opportunity for student to gain presentation experience in a welcoming format!
This year, you will submit your proposal via our conference portal. No submissions will be accepted via email. The deadline for proposal submissions is March 1, 2022, 11:00pm Eastern Time. No late submissions will be accepted.
