Leadership Fellows Program
Attention Graduate and Professional Students
Applications due: March 22, 2022
The Leadership Fellows Program was launched in 2015 as part of the Graduate School’s commitment to graduate and professional student success, interconnectedness, and inclusion. The Leadership Fellows Program aims to:
- build a stronger and healthier graduate and professional student community at MSU by preparing participants with leadership theory and practice
- position students to be change agents in the MSU community and beyond
Fellows meet regularly throughout the academic year with their cohort, a diverse community of graduate student leaders from across campus. Fellows also receive one-on-one and peer mentorship, have opportunities to engage in leadership opportunities within their college (often in direct collaboration with the deans), and grow through peer-to-peer networking.
Each fellow develops and exercises leadership skills by creating and managing a change-oriented project aimed at enhancing graduate student well-being. Mandatory monthly cohort meetings will be held virtually on Thursdays from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Open to all MSU graduate and professional students. Learn more and apply.
