Position Available: Assistant Professor of Professional Practice, TCU

The College of Education at TCU is actively searching for two new positions to begin in Fall 2022. These positions include an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (non-tenure track position) and a DEI postdoctoral fellowship (two-year appointment with the possibility of transitioning to a tenure-track role). The priority deadline is March 18, 2022.

Assistant Professor of Professional Practice (Search Chair: Dr. Ashley Tull, Professor of Professional Practice)

This faculty member will:

  • Coordinate the Higher Education Leadership graduate programs, including recruitment, admissions, and advising and work collaboratively with TCU Student Affairs to provide students with authentic experiences.
  • Teach higher educational leadership graduate courses potentially including postsecondary leadership, college student development, community college leadership, history and philosophy of higher education, ethics, diversity and inclusion, organization and administration, and/or other program topics as needed.
  • Create and revise current courses to remain current in the field.
  • Advise and mentor graduate students, including serving as chair or co-chair of capstone and dissertation committees.
  • Provide service to the college, university, professional associations, and discipline-related organizations and partners.
